The FQM offers active members insurance receipt booklets free of charge so that their clients can be reimbursed by their insurance companies for massage therapy or kinesitherapy care. By virtue of its high standards and efforts to regulate massage therapy in Québec, the FQM maintains a relationship of trust with insurance companies, thus ensuring that the receipts FQM members issue to their clients will be accepted. Note that receipt booklets for kinesitherapy care are sent on the condition that the kinesitherapist successfully completes at least 600 hours of training in kinesitherapy (see training profiles) at an FQM-accredited school.
