You’ve worked hard to become a certified FQM massage therapist, which means that you meet all the requirements of Profile 1 (400 hours) set out in the Modèle québécois de la massothérapie. However, you want to continue on your learning path and further specialize. What will your next career goal be? To add to your knowledge? Further develop your expertise or roster of clients? Build upon or update your competencies?
As a certified massage therapist, you have access to a series of training programs, all based on the Model of competencies offered exclusively in FQM-accredited schools. Thus, if you wish to pursue your training and reach new heights, it’s important to make sure that the school you choose is recognized by the FQM.
Here are the requirements of the various training profiles recognized by the FQM:
- Profile 1: 400 hours
- Profile 2: 1,000 hours
- Profile 3: 1,500 to 1,800 hours
Please view the Modèle québécois de la massothérapie for complete details on these profiles.
